Trailer Moments

Five Sequences.
One Explosion.

The signature stunt and action beats that define Roman Reeves: Superspy — from suave comedy to brutal yacht carnage.

01
L'Escargot private room, early in the film

Private Room Escape

Roman vs. Laszlo's Henchmen

Laszlo interrupts Roman and Anastasia, has his men tie them up, and tries to assert control. Roman provokes Laszlo into throwing a punch, ducks at the last second so Laszlo knocks out his own henchman, then Roman smashes Laszlo with a champagne bottle and escapes with Anastasia. This is the first "Roman is always in control" stunt beat and establishes the suave/comedic fight style.

02
Laszlo meeting setup with Petra

Rundown Building Ambush

Window Crash Rescue

Petra tries to bait Laszlo for information while Roman and Anastasia observe from outside. When Laszlo's men surround Petra, Roman crashes through a window, rolls into the room, lands with his gun trained on Laszlo, and turns the ambush around. Anastasia then clocks Laszlo, Roman fires a diversion shot, and the trio escapes under cover. This sequence gives the movie its first bigger spy-action entrance and shows Roman working as a tactical showman.

03
The Dancing Mackerel bar, Monaco streets, then the kidnap van

Corvette Chase / Van Rescue

Portuguese Pursuit Set Piece

Portuguese henchmen enter the bar, Roman drops a wooden chandelier onto them, then escapes with Shane and Stefan in a stolen Corvette while the henchmen pursue in a black SUV. The chase escalates through traffic, gunfire, curb driving, counter-fire from the passengers, and Roman's signature 180-degree reverse-driving maneuver, ending with Roman shooting the SUV driver and causing a crash/explosion. The sequence continues into Anastasia's rescue: Roman tracks the kidnap van, blows/skids its tires, takes down the guards, and Anastasia saves him by hitting the driver with a metal bar.

04
Abandoned warehouse, after the fake Petra distress call

Warehouse Trap

Night-Vision Fight

Roman and Anastasia enter a dark warehouse expecting to rescue Petra, but it's a trap set by Garberro and several gunmen. Roman shoots out the lone light bulb, switches to night-vision goggles, redirects a gunman's weapon, uses one attacker to shoot another, drop-kicks a man through a second-floor window, disarms a knife attacker, breaks his leg, and throws the knife into another fleeing enemy. The fight turns when Roman is blinded by a flashlight and knocked down the stairs, only for Anastasia to save him with a chair leg. This is one of the clearest contained fight/stunt sequences in the script.

05
The Hennan

Yacht Finale

Shootout, Falls, Hand-to-Hand, Ocean Stunt, Explosion

Roman infiltrates the yacht disguised as catering staff, plants an explosive charge, and quietly takes out two guards near the secure holding area, tossing them overboard. The finale then expands into the biggest action sequence: Anastasia shoots Laszlo from the roof deck to save Roman, Roman grabs Laszlo's gun and drops multiple gunmen, Director Salt shoots Anastasia and sends her tumbling in slow motion to the deck below, and Roman goes into a brutal revenge rampage. Meanwhile, Anastasia survives thanks to her vest, fights Petra hand-to-hand, and her father knocks Petra out with a plank; Roman is pushed out of the hull into the ocean by Salt, secretly clings to a rope, re-enters, kicks Salt back inside, cuffs him near the IED, then escapes with Anastasia, her father, and Petra before the yacht explodes.
